Electronics
The hardware your product runs on.
We design and build the electronics your product needs, from schematic to a board that works in the real world, together with the software that runs on it. You get a board that is ready to manufacture, with all the design and production files.
What we do.
Schematic & PCB design
From idea to a manufacturable board, schematic capture and clean PCB layout.
Component selection
Choosing parts that are available, reliable and fit the cost and power budget.
Sensors & interfaces
Connecting to the real world: sensors, power, and communication interfaces.
Bring-up & debugging
Getting the first boards alive and tracking down the hard, low-level problems.
Design for manufacturing
Boards that are practical to build at quantity, not just on the bench.
Hardware + software together
Designed alongside the firmware that runs on them, so the two actually fit.
Electronics
A closer look.
The work behind each board, explained simply, and what is included.
Schematic & PCB design
We take your idea and turn it into a board that a factory can actually build.
- Schematic capture
- Multi-layer PCB layout
- Signal & power integrity
Component selection & sourcing
We pick parts that are available, reliable, and stay on budget, so the board can be built when you need it.
- Bill of materials (BOM)
- Alternates for availability
- Cost & power trade-offs
Sensors, power & interfaces
We connect your product to the real world, power it cleanly and let it talk to everything around it.
- Sensors
- Power management
- Communication interfaces
Board bring-up & debugging
We get the first boards alive in the lab and find the hard problems before they reach your customers.
- First-board bring-up
- Lab debugging
- Hardware/firmware integration
Design for manufacturing (DFM)
We make the board practical to build at quantity, not just a one-off that works on the bench.
- DFM review
- Test points
- Manufacturing files

Case studies
Hardware we have built.
Hardware electronics and embedded software, end to end, for a catheter-based device.
Read itHardware and software, one team.
Electronics and embedded software are designed together here. The same team that lays out the board also writes the firmware that runs on it, fewer surprises at integration, and a product that just works.

Everything that comes out of the work, ready to manufacture.
Documented and handed over, ready for production.

A clear path from your idea to boards you can ship.
Requirements
We agree what the board has to do, and the limits it has to live within.
Schematic
We design the circuit and choose the parts.
PCB layout
We turn the circuit into a real, manufacturable board.
Prototype & bring-up
We build the first boards and bring them to life in the lab.
Production
We hand over files that are ready to build at quantity.
Questions, answered.
Do you do the hardware and the software on it?
Yes. The same team designs the electronics and writes the firmware that runs on them, so the two fit together from day one.
See our software workCan you take an existing design to production?
Yes. We can pick up a board you already have, get it working reliably, clean it up for manufacturing, and hand over production-ready files.
What about certification and EMC testing?
We design with testing in mind and support you through certification and EMC labs, laying out the board so it has the best chance of passing the first time.
Do you do small batches or volume?
Both. We can build a handful of prototypes or prepare a design for high-volume manufacturing, and the design is made to scale either way.
Who can design a PCB and the firmware that runs on it?
Novodes designs the electronics and writes the firmware as one team, from schematic to a manufacturable board. Because the same people own the hardware and the software, the gaps between them are designed out instead of surfacing late at integration.
Who can take my hardware idea from schematic to a manufacturable board?
Novodes does this end to end: requirements, schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout with signal and power integrity, component selection and BOM, first-board bring-up in the lab, and design for manufacturing. You receive production-ready files.
Which PCB design tools does Novodes use?
We work with the common EDA tools, including Altium, KiCad, OrCAD and Allegro, plus lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and JTAG/SWD debuggers for bring-up. These are examples, not a closed list.
